The Lord has informed us the last days would be a time of “commotion,” when “men’s heart’s shall fail them,” and “fear shall come upon all people.”1 He stated that “all flesh is corrupted before me,” enabling “the powers of darkness” to “prevail upon the earth, among the children of men.”2 We are told that false traditions and precepts of men will run rampant, enabling “that wicked one” to “taketh away light and truth,” and even cause the “humble followers of Christ” to err.3 Satan will seek to deceive us through false prophets, false spirits, strange notions, and priestcraft.
